This one was not clearly labeled for use in low profile, but not only did it fit, it came with the low profile split brackets, adapters, s video and part converters..absolutely everything I needed. My agp factor wasn’t easy to find a card for and this card is awesome considering the restrictions of AGP. I could greatly recommend anybody looking for a low profile AGP card to attempt this one…It is PERFECT!!

I installed Windows 7, but the old GeForce four card wasn’t up to Windows Aero. This new PNY card was just the inexpensive ticket to bring the graphics performance a bit closer to the present and Windows seven had a driver for it. This card is most likely more than I needed, but hey, the price was right!

    It’s nice that it has both DVI and VGA outputs I used DVI and it will include a dongle for compoent video output, not that I intend to use them. A DVI to VGA adapter is included. I can see the attraction of the low profile brackets to HTPC builders also. For me, the use of a passive heatsink was a strong plus as I like my systems silent.

    No frills in the box the CD has just drivers but I just throw out the games typically included anyway!

The PNY card does not boast a super frame rate or blistering graphics processing power, but it fits my older AGP motherboard slot, and meets my prerequisites to a T. It uses a gorilla sized heat sink instead of the more common electric fan for cooling. Both of this card’s predecessors went to their reward because of fan failures after years of nearly constant running.

    The VCG62256AEB gives an excellent picture to a Samsung 22″ LCD monitor. Installation was easy, with only the tight quarters of a four slot motherboard hindering a perfect installation. Ubuntu and XP Pro recognized the card and used hi res drivers now. XP performance was more improved with an update to the new Nvidia drivers.

    This weekend I added a Windows seven triple boot to the same computer. Win7 recognized the card, worked now, and ran smoothly from the start. The card is an excellent purchase, hard performer, and easy to install. PNY has already sent the rebate.

Can run Crysis on High Detail in Windows XP with no problems. Runs a bit slow on super in Windows seven RC but much playable. Everything’s a tad slower with DX10. Runs Left4Dead on all settings maxed and 4x anti alias with no problems and stays at a steady 45fps with a horde on screen. Easy to install, some a power hog but really a good card. I greatly recommend.

    REAL NAME &nbsp,&nbsp, ive replaced a xfx 8600gt 512 series with this baby, and ill tell you it was a big leap in performance, was only able to get med settings with the lower end.On high it could jump skip hiccup nearly every 30sec. And i didnt notice all of the things that arent displayed while in higher settings in fallout three like vapors after turnin enemies into goo, or the dust flyin around in buildings or things blowin on the wind. Ive had it for near a month and no hitch or regrets it’s a calm fast workhorse for the money you purchase it for, ive played fallout3 so far on all high settings with fps rate of 35 60fps, and super settings with 29 15 fps rate. If youre a budget gamer get this particularly with the supersavings and rebate! if youre lookin for a bigger card and can pay for it, get the 200 series, but if youre on a budget you wont regret it. And of course you’ll have to get the updates from their site since their discs are a little outdated by the time you get it. Precision is a great part to regulate your stats on it temps clock speeds etc, also if youre an overclocker it has tools to do the job, though im not really an oc’r so i dont know how precision stands among the other apps. I paired this GPU with 4gb of 1600mhz memory and a core i 5 750 and no doubt this thing chews up everything i throw at it pretty in that order. I can run far cry two maxed out with full AA/AF at 1680 x 1050 thats the resolution of my monitor, and it runs shy over 40fps, so cranking the AA down really puts up many nice numbers for me.

    With the cpu stock, i i scored 10K in 3dmark vantage at 1280 x 1024, and 15K in 3dmark06 at 1280 x 1024.

    I ran dirt two to check out the dx eleven features and the game runs very smooth and the detail is amazing. The Unigine bench really pulls the card to it is knees when maxed out, but then again it is a bench, but, the Uningine bench looks unbelievable completely maxed out, and runs an average of 24 fps for the benchmark.

    For a mid range build i greatly recommend this gpu. If you choose to run two in crossfire I have heard that they can perform in many cases as good as a 5870, and in specific cases better than a 5870. These things scale very well, have low power prerequisites, excellent performance, and are dx eleven able. Don’t hesitate, don’t buy a 260gtx or a 4870/4890 over this card. You’ll be disappointed.

It worked. The installation was straight forward and it worked as it should for three weeks now. I haven’t tried the Windows drivers as I don’t use Windows on this computer. This is a good basic AGP video card. If that’s what you need don’t hesitate to purchase it.

I’m not a computer person but I asked him to show me how to replace the card it was easy. I ordered this video card from b/c it was economical cheap. I use my computer to check email, surf the net, download pics, etc.Nothing too cool. I do not play video games that seemingly require a much costly video card. In any way, I put the card in, turned the computer on and voila.Good as new. All for $45! I has been prepared to use up $2,000 on a new computer so needless to say I has been thrilled that this inexpensive fix got us back online. The picture is better than new since technology has come a long way since 2003. I hope this is useful info to someone out there like me having a alike issue. Good Luck!
